i had pogrebnyak for the 1st couple of weeks at 5. might be a decent alternative as a cheap striker. still dont think he's awesome, but better than the other options of a low price.

I had him for the first week as he played twice but meh. I think he's gash. Only 4.9 now though so a tempting option as that gives a bit more cash to spread around.

I wonder when that Reading/Sunderland game will be played? The one that was postponed. If it's soon I might stock up on Sunderland and Reading players.

To be honest with my WC gone I want to have a team that will go until Christmas, rather than for the next 2 weeks. Just not sure whether to ditch RVP. I've got one cheap striker as well and I'm absolutely torn between all sorts. Tempted to go for Crouch but Stoke have a tough few fixtures. That Kone for Wigan looks good mind -- he was very prolific in Spain last year.

Ha ha Sorry mate, i could be wrong though in fact i prob am. Go with who you think will score, we all have different tips thats the beauty. I think i have maybe five keeprs and the rest im sure ill chop and change, very little is still known after three weeks and i have no doubt players like Valencia, Bale, Siggy, Cisse, Dempsey, Silva, Rooney and Aguero will come into my team at different times, its sometimes about when you jump on and of.

The one thing i learned playing over the years is no one is untoucable, take RVP, Aguero could come back and outscore him for 3 game weeks, in that case RVP would be a lepper as Aguero is 2mill cheaper now. If you have stones nows the time to bring him in before a band wagon, Aguero got 240 odd last season and RVP got 260. Is 2mill worth the extra 20 odd points?? Depends where you want to spend it and what points that 2mill could bring in, for instance Crouch suddenly becomes an 8.5mill striker or a 6mill midfileder becomes a Nasri, Toure or Kagawa.

Im going to stick with RVP btw - this week!
