What is the alternative? That a Government that couldn't govern its way out of a paper bag has done this as some kind of false flag operation in order to expose how utterly useless it is and how truly friendless we are, despite all their protestations to the contrary?

For me that’s key. This is a government which is only in power by paying off an outdated religious right mob ,a government who it seems can’t win a one horse race , nor negotiate Brexit or have a clue what to do about the Irish border but they’ve plotted to murder a Russian (now a British citizen ) who spied for us whilst critically injuring some copper . Unless he’s in on it of course I presume along with the hospital , the nursing staff and the investigators . Whilst we’re cleverly using the incident to make ourselves look completely impotent around the world . Unless we plotted it with the yanks obviously to highlight a split between the Secretary of State and POTUS

Seems a stretch to me I’ll be honest , course I suppose there is always a chance it might be the Russians .
