How has this thread escaped my notice for so long?

We have Tayto crisps in Northern Ireland (unlike the rebranded Walkers/Tayto flogged in the south). The Smokey Bacon flavour crisp in between to buttered slices of bread are an absolute joy. If you're approaching the plate with a bag from a 6 pack, bring 2 packets. No point in half filling a sarnie. Do the job proper, its what makes you a man.

I've tried other flavours but never tried adding additional ingredients. Never felt the need to.

Do I need to now go looking for a Pot Noodle Sandwich thread?

Chunk of baguette, hollow out some of the bread, butter the inside and fill with wotsits. A golden cheesy crunch of pure elation.

Cheese and Onion only for a Sandwich ...or on toast.

Did you see the chicken & sweetcorn pot noodle with wotsits admission? Then the ditch the soy sauce, over fill and load with bread admission?

I'm unsure where they get their ideas. I'm also a bit worried.

It only works with Walkers Crisps, mainly salt and vinegar. If it was a Sub you could have Mc Coys in one.

That’s the elite of this , basic Warbuton’s type bread as well . Plenty of butter and away we go
