Since I shoehorned a book in there the biography of frank hamer the man who killed Bonnie & Clyde is honestly fascinating . Hamer lived an incredible life .

This nonce (no alleged about it, he's just pleaded guilty) was in a 2 horse race to be next Commissioner of NZ Police. Material was found by accident when they looked at his devices over another matter. He was that close to being in overall charge of NZ police, which is rather chilling when one finds out that in his spare time he gets off on seeing children being sexually abused and stuff with animals in too.
