I knew a local bloke who did this twice, first time with his neighbours electricity then with the street lighting, got jailed both times for it though so not so successful

….back when I was playing footy, loads of my mates had their electricity meter fiddled. I think it was a piece of wire that stopped the wheel going around but I doubt you can do that now.

As a Civil Servant and servant of the Crown, I never partook

Just took the gold plated pension eh - saying that I am dead against Smart Meters - cant get my magnet on them

I have a LG pension - we are lucky now most firms pensions in big organisations whats left of them - only pay an average payout over your total career - not the final year salary plus lump sum .... it get taxed any way -

Older Gas & electric metre do not spin around as fast too ....
