Just looked at the top 10 4th innings totals in India and 197 is 10th so anything over 200 gives us a good chance. That said you wouldn't put it past England to come out after tea and only score 6 more runs for the loss of 5 wickets!

Muddled thinking from a great position for me. You can't poke and prod on this pitch against these spinners, Crawley played the right way and got runs, you have to attack.

Can see a comfortable Indua win from here as we've released all the pressure

Well that was pretty disappointing...
Mix of bad luck and some very poor decisions...
Would bairstow be playing if Brook was available?
Was foakes trying to see out the day? Lost count of the amount of singles they could have safely took.

So much average batting. They didn't find the balance at all. EIther they wanted to play a shot a ball or just showed no intent to score like Foakes.

got to start off bowling tight and put India under pressure and let the pitch then do some work. Cant afford to let India get a start. Another great game though.
