Why play games in a country where it rains all the time?
Cricket is played in the UK and Ireland where it rains a lot. Can any of our Aussie friends tell us if this amount of rain is unusual in Aus at this time of the year?

I think in these sort of tournaments there should be quarter finals as well. So top four of each group go through. Would help to lessen the blow of wash outs in the group stages if you still get through to a knock out match.
Could do with Sri Lanka beating new Zealand today, now that really would open the group up!

Oh not at all, it really does matter. I just thought after the result it was still in our hands. Even if we'd have beaten Ireland we'd still have to have won the rest of our games I reckon.
