I don't think the hundred and the blast can both exist in the same schedule. Something has to give.
And I know it's a bit of a controversial opinion, but the hundred is where the game is going because there isn't enough quality players for an 18 team tournament to work. The IPL only has like 8 or 9 teams, so why does English domestic cricket have 18?

Something has given, the 50 over competition. England, the only country in the world who would bin a competition in which they were world champions.
They should have a straight knockout 50 over comp, with good dates to let the best players play. It wouldn't be hard to schedule, if teams could be out after one game. And every game would matter too, and that pressure helps develop players.

I can't remember, but wasn't the format that it consisted of two leagues, all the teams played each other once, then the top two of each league played a semi-final, then the final ? Or maybe not, it's all a bit vague nowadays. lol
