Keaton Jennings again the star for Lancs with 114 as Lancs reached a commanding position in the Roses match at Old Trafford

Lancs 350-6 in reply to 159 all out lead by 191 with four wickets left. Former Ormskirk star Mstt Bohannon (47*) is well set too, Lamb (4*) the new man in.

Deserved hundred for Jennings - he's played really well in the last few games, looking calm and solid, which is what you want from an opener.

Delighted for Bohannon, another deserved century. He's a Bolton lad, Chris, not sure if he's played for Ormskirk

Yes Mick played for Ormskirk - a few years ago now - played maybe only a season or two in the Liverpool Comp. Delighted he's moved on to better things with Lancs.

Would love to get my son into cricket (playing). He was only 4 a few weeks ago.

Lots of local cricket clubs have junior sections but something for the future rather than now lol

Thanks Chris, I didn't know that. I'd have thought he'd have played in the Bolton league, which used to be quite strong. I remember reading an interview with him when he signed for Lancs and his joy was so obvious, so I followed him closely during his time in the 2nd XI, from his early struggles to knocking on the 1st team door. Then he made 50 on his debut at the Oval, under floodlights with Morne Morkel tearing in. He's gone under the radar a bit so I'm glad he's done well in front of the Sky team.

Was watching before lunch, Matt Parkinson was bowling and I thought I was seeing things - more than once one of the slip fielders was kneeling down as MP bowled ! Actually wound it back to check I wasn’t seeing things, happened a few times while I was watching, never seen that before!
