Always said Lancs should have signed Emilio Gay when he left Northants. Classy player - I hope when England pick him they give him half as many chances they gave Crawley.
 
Disappointing loss for Lancashire. Failing to finish off the tail once again is a fault that's recurring again and again. To have Durham 124-7, about 250 runs behind, and lose by 8 wickets, is nothing short of remarkable. Coupled with the fact that batting collapses are an on going concern there's a lot of work needed.
 
Fair play to Durham, well batted second innings. I really thought that lead would be enough. The life went out of the pitch after about 15 overs with the new ball and they really applied themselves.

Lancs need a decent spinner if they are going to succeed, should have gone for Bashir when he was available.

If it isn't someone actually sympathetic to the club and it's members it's rinse and repeat.
