It was an even series. Lots of ups and downs where it could easily have flipped either way. England should have won here and at OT. India should never have lost at Headingley. The only one sided game was at Edgbaston.

Brook and Bethell throwing it away changed it all. Hard to criticise Brook after his knock but such a stupid dismissal.

Flip of the coin, India bowled brilliantly last hour yesterday.

Jacob Bethell needs to be allowed to go and play as many games for Warwickshire as possible between now and the Ashes. He's got enormous talent but talent needs to be developed and watching 4 matches then playing after 5 weeks is not good for a young player.

indiscipline cost England there, when their luck was in they still pushed for the rub of the green, hollywood stuff, and ended up the wrong side for it.

bad bowling, bad fielding, brainless batting. possibly a moral victory because they were down a specialist bowler. but they were missing bumrah and pant. some god awful decision making. ok, stokes missing for england also, but life needs planning for his retirement, because at his age and the all action game he relies on (his only game tbh) his injuries will occur more regular and more serious.
