I'm all for playing youngsters but throwing so many in together is never a good idea, let alone against the best team in the country. getting hammered does no-one's confidence any good.
Good to see Bailey, Mahmoud, Wood, and Salt are all 'resting', while Livingstone seems to be heading down the Buttler route.

Buttler's always conveniently injured when Lancashire play, time to cut the link. Don't know why Salt and Livingstone are 'resting', they've hardly overburdened themselves this season. Don't rate Wood much, Mahmood, because of his injury problem, I suppose needs a bit of nursing. Lancashire could be in the bottom two at the conclusion of the current matches.
