Plenty of optimism about now, what happened?

Blue Union disbanded? Brothers in Arms once again? Stability? Results? Goals???

Oh that's right, we resigned JUDAS ESCARIOT and, noddy league wannabe, A United reject and a decent American, what for a couple of months? And let go a couple of hopeless players?

I'm finding it hard to get excited.
Koff lad.

I wouldn't call Pienaar 'JUDAS ESCARIOT' for joining what was a Champions' League club compared to our sinking ship.

What do you want us to do, sign Messi and Ronaldo? Get real. Smile.

I think what the OP means is credit to the manager of Everton FC who operates on a shoestring and does so with effect.

Grass is always greener eh? Why has he come back all of a sudden?

But if the grass was, in fact, greener it'd be sound for him.

But he's realised it isn't, knows he made a mistake and has pushed for a move back. Sound.

Well in that case we all make mistakes and should be forgiven in due time.

He better play like his arse is on fire though.

Agreed. Long years ago now I stopped being annoyed at players coming and going. They arrive, the play for us for 6 months or 6 years or whatever and then they go. Once in a while one becomes a club icon but 99% are pros who come and go. If Pienaar left he was ambitious for CL and money. Good for him. Same with Rooney. I have no animosity for him at all. United came calling with a big cheque, talk of image rights etc and the boy jumped at the millions. Good for him. I support whatever 11 Everton put out. If that includes Pienaar, rooney, uncle tom Cobley...so be it within reason

For every other club, selling to buy is ordinary practice. Why should we give special praise to the board for finally doing what they're supposed to be doing and not running the club like buffoons?

I bet you drown puppies and tell children Santa's not real.

That will happen in the Summer when we sell Baines, Fellaini, Rodwell and Barkley.

Step away from THAT ledge mate. We need to be more worried about what we are gonna do about all the loanee's...locking up Drenthe and Straq I think are priorities #1 and #2, with Peanut #3. If we sell Rodwell...and Jags...there, I said it...I don't think it would be the end of the world. Unless of course we get less that 30m for the two of them...
