This is great news for all involved. Everyone is delighted for you and clearly you're excited about your new job. I look forward to it.

Brownie of the plant world - we just got a bore dug and tis salty, can you recommend salt resistant plants that I can put in my garden.

mangroves.

there's a place close to us bundy called winsford, where there are huge salt mines, the plants that grow around there are usually found in coastal areas, the soil is very salty apparently. so just nick some from along your coastline.

Yeah that would make quite an attractive garden. :|

I might look in to desalisation plants or something.

suppose it depends how salty as well. some will be ok i reckon if it aint too salty.

bob villa has the answer
Salt-Resistant Plants

although they may need to be native as oz is quite strict on foreign fauna.

Our bore is 5000ppm. Apparently 2000ppm is ok to use like normal water. He said it would be ok to water at night so the dew washes the salt from the leaves, but it would be nice to use the water in the house as well.

I'm sick of my job - I'm trying to line up a job with our competitor. It's like i'm playing survivor but for real and if I get voted out I lose my job. My boss somehow got wind that I wasn't happy and took me aside and had a chat - I had to assure him that I was still here for the team. Got an interview tomorrow - I somehow got to sneak in there without anyone from here seeing me or knowing about it - a bit hard because employees from over there talk to employees from here.

What's your job mate?
