This is a good cover though I probably prefer the original.

Paul Young's version of 'wherever I lay my hat' is better than the Marvin Gaye original imo

SLF doing 'Johnny Was' is amazing. More powerful then Marley's version.

The Beat 'Can't get used to losing you'. I do like the Andy Williams version though.

Nothing will beat the original but this is good. Not. Even. Arsed.

Robbie Williams ? you fruit

Jimi Hendrix - All along The Watchtower (way better than the Dylan one)
Faith No More - War Pigs

Almost always the original is better, imo.

No idea why this particular song springs to mind but "You've Got A Friend In Me" by Randy Newman has been covered by a bunch of talented people and they all murdered it because Newman sang it literally perfectly.

Unless you're not talking about The Rolling Stones, but a band names "Stones" - this is not a cover.

No, the other way round, the cover was sh*te.

There was a thread recently by GOT about why people don't post more on the forum.

There's your answer - every tiny mistake is picked up on and pointed out to you. And it sure puts people off posting.
