I think at this point Ronny must surely be considering playing Ross at CM, that will depend on whether he considers Mori and Ross a liability defensively. Cos I think if Ross plays in midfield, we would defo need a back 3.

But im not even sure that formation would work, theres currently a disconnect from midfield to attack and im not sure dropping Ross deeper would solve that issue, its a problem, thats for damn sure.

The moves for Witsel, Sissoko and even Perez show that Ronny had already identified the potential for such an issue months ago.

agreed. Think its the only position we will get him playing to his potential but its a risk at the mo. Giving the ball away & getting bullied in the middle of the park is a worry. Youre right we would need 3 at the back .
Get him playing well in there and bring in a specialist no10 we would see some progress. Or evn Schnderline in a 3 in the middle

Hes decent I think, he drives with the ball and looks forward, I dont rate him amazingly highly, but he would improve us loads.
