I cut back on what I have from them. Got rid of the sport but was daft enough to let them talk me into keeping Sky Cinema. There are a few other things on my package (oo-er) but it is still £65 a month. I will deffo cancel the movies next time and maybe a few other things. Crazy how it creeps up over the course of your contract each time ...

You'd get Paramount+ Disney+ Netflix and Prime for what you are paying for sky and still have money to spare.. For me Paramount represents the best value there's not as much to watch as the others but a lot of what is there is quality.

Paramount+ is included with the Sky package although adverts have crept in recently. I agree with what you say though and there is quite a lot on Freeview as well ...

Sky is gone silly money, if they keep going the way they are more and more people will get rid of it, which of course will have a knock on effect in money they pay to the PL for rights.. The sooner the PL gets its own streaming service with every game available for a monthly fee the better.

A mate of mine (ahem) pays IPTV £80 a year for over 8000 live channels plus all the PPV, 25k+ movies and 4k+ TV series.

I think you might be missing a trick somewhere mate.

Got made redundant in early Feb (60 now so taking early retirement) but Sky was the first thing I binned off to save money. Bought a 1tb Freesat box for £80 on marketplace and we are not missing sky at all.

Had the dodgy box for 4 years, yep get all of the above but don’t tell anybody

What’s the difference between the stick and the box? Generally the box appear to be more expensive but they both to me seems to do the same thing.

If I didn’t love getting shafted out of my hard earned money by corporations so much I’d definitely have something that gives me sky and sky equivalents all over the world for like £8 a month

All your hard earned money has what has been used to destroy the game I used to love and create this cabal of overpaid mercenaries, enormous squads, playing with balloons on snooker table pitches.

All done to esurie the dependable big brands win everything so the armchair buys again next year. Boring and predictable tedium with corrupt scripted drama has replaced competition.

Frankly at this point I wish they'd charge more to punish you customers on my behalf.

Left Now TV last year as they wanted £46 a month. Didn't bother trying to haggle back down to thirty odd which it had been. Problem is, of course, they are part of Sky so will keep looking to charge more.

If the Premier League breaks away from the Sky deal with it's own streaming service then expect the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd wanting a bigger cut of the monthly fee.

I was paying £46 but went through the process of leaving and on the final stage they gave it me for £33. I'll see what happens further down the line....
