Got my cheapest quote of £960 from Admiral. Called to proceed. They checked the external database and said there was a claim from 3 years ago and they needed information.
I couldn't remember this so got the information from previous insurer. It was a notification that someone bumped my car while it was parked in the street, no one was in my car, no claim made by me and the other persons insurance fixed the bodywork damage.
Sent this to Admiral and now they are quoting me £1,140 based on the notification as my stationary car being crashed into makes me more of a risk.
Insurance really is a broken system.
