I didn't experience it like that either. Masks stayed on (on the whole) for a long time around me. Still some mask wearing now.

I guess it depends who you surround yourself with. And I'd assume, people who take the right wing conspiracy nut stance, are probably friends with others of a similar view and they will all act I a similar way.

Been off work with Covid for five days now, struggling to shake it off. First time infection to my knowledge. One of, if not the most unpleasant illnesses I’ve ever had. Felt every single symptom listed on the nhs website at some point. Couldn't even sit up in bed for the first two days.

Dread to think how it would be if I was older, or unvaccinated.
