Breakthrough cases are more likely in the vulnerable but everyone should have stepped up by now to get the jab.
One hospital reported only a couple of days ago that the unvaccinated accounted for 80% of covid admissions.
If this is the case across the country, there would be no need to lockdown at all if everyone was jabbed, as hospital admissions would be very low.
The Tories aren't considering lockdowns to save lives, it's to stop our entire healthcare system from collapsing.

Using your logic, If and engineer come to me and said, to sort this engine, remove the alernator (didn’t work), remove the oil filtering system (didn’t work), change the cooling system (didn’t work), change the volatile regulator (didn’t work), change the lube oil ( didn’t work), I would tell him to do one aswel.

It is difficult to respond to any of this because of how wrong you are.

Vaccines are effective at reducing the likelyhood of getting COVID seriously. They do not (and were never advertised as) prevent someone catching COVID. They also do not, unfortunately, completely reduce the risk of dying from COVID to nothing - it still remains, albeit at a reduced level.

Finally hospitals have not been overrun every single year in December and January since the 1980s. It is traditionally their busiest time, but there were around 10% more hospital deaths last year than in recent times.

Sorry mate but they have been saying our healthcare system was on the verge of collagspe since March 2020, my sister in laws a nurse in Fazak hospital, I was in hospital twice during that time with my missus, I’ll tell you now believe what you see and hear. They where by no means collapsing.

Of course when a generator goes down I would call an engineer, I wouldnt call a chief officer to go and fix a diesel generator you mush.

In reality you wouldn’t ever call an Engo to fix it, just to switch until a service tech for watsilla or who ever got on.

There are very few unoccupied beds across the country.
Covid actually accounts for a very small proportion.
The entire system is buckling due to Tory austerity.
I think everyone knows someone who works within the NHS and my family who are in it have said it has been very tough.
