Why is it ridiculous? Does it not protect those taking the test by reducing the likelihood of catching the virus from someone who is positive? My son had all the symptoms went for a Covid test - he had to implement the test himself in his car .....
Absolutely ridiculous only stewards there took the test of him Witham e tenders for grip ....
Since this apparently needed to be said, I guess this must be the latest quack cure du jour being peddled on Facebook.

I deleted my FB account in 2011 and have not missed it one iota. I’m glad I wasn’t on there for the last few years when it’s become even more of a poisonous cesspit.Sorry for repeating myself but binning off social media in its current state should be the #1 priority for governments. The benefits in no way compensate for the damage done.

When I went to the hospital a professional in spacesuit gear took the test ........correctly .......it was skilfully done stewards letting the average Joe self test may not be accurate......that's my valid point .....Why is it ridiculous? I’m pretty sure that the majority of tests in all settings aside from hospital are self administered. When I went to the hospital a professional in spacesuit gear took the test ........correctly .......it was skilfully done stewards letting the average Joe self test may not be accurate......that's my valid point .....
Mine was not - I witnessed it as I was there drove in window wind down swap up nose - down the throat with another swab - not pleasant, but I knew it had been professionally done - all those PAID stewards for my poor sons DIY exercise .... how accurate is that?I’m pretty sure that the majority of tests in all settings aside from hospital are self administered.
Quite.
I use Instagram but deleted Facebook and the only time I ever see Twitter really is from people posting the nonsense in here.
It can become easy to think 90% of the population are morons spending time on Twitter in particular. Not good for mental health at all.
To be fair twitter is brilliant for football and music for me - I don't think I could get away from it fullyI deleted all social media apps off my phone a few weeks ago and I’ve seen a remarkable increase in my general happiness as I don’t spend time scrolling through dross. I’ve got twitter back but that was only to get away tickets. I’d highly recommend others trying it.
I had twitter for a few years, never had any other social media but binned twitter off a few months ago as it seemed like only a mixture of bots and unfunny trolls. Don't miss it one bit.To be fair twitter is brilliant for football and music for me - I don't think I could get away from it fully
But one thing people should remember is your own feed is different to the feed given to you on the news/trending parts. You get to choose who to follow, and can unfollow things you don't like. The steady stream of football articles and music recommendations or gig reviews on my feed make me happy so there are benefits
