The World Health Organisation have been so useless through all of this, I am very surprised what with all the Covid gimmicky buzzwords, that no Roger Daltery jokes have been made out of the initials of the organisation.

No hospital figures reported for today, last Saturday’s late revealed total was 45

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 103 deaths were announced today, up 11 on yesterday and up 32 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 89.57

For the 60 day cut off, 104 deaths were announced today, up 2 on yesterday and up 23 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 97.57

Its starting to get to the point now where you're in the minority if you've got a mask on. Was on the train earlier and I'd guess around 20% had them on. Supermarkets probably around 50% but seems to decline every week.
Good to know. Back in late 2020, if you didn't wear a mask you would be treated like a murderer, even outside in a park or somewhere else.

People who predicted that Western European societies will transform into Japanese or Chinese ones proved wrong

My neighbour from the flat downstairs went through these thought patterns during each lockdown……

First one: “A bit of culture without having to leave the home because this is what the Chinese have been doing for ages when SARS and MERS came along. This will be a novelty and I will have fun making the most out of staying at home”

Second one: “It’s only a month long, it’s going to drift by fast, not really a lockdown is it?, more like the idea of switching people’s lives off for a month like a switch in a circuit box, or a “circuit breaker”, which is where it gets its name from”.

Third one: “We really are not safe are we?, the government are not looking after us properly”.

Reality hit home for her by the third one by the sounds of it. For me, my other half and everyone else I know, it hit home from the very start.

Yeah I forgot my mask when I went to the shop today, was in a rush.

I didn't think I was a murderer.

But i have still been keeping it on usually.
