There`s going to be a lot of the " worried well " who won`t let go of masks wearing for a long time.

Wearing a mask outside, has almost become a badge of " look at me, I`m a model citizen " citizen for many.

They tend to mainly be, white late middle aged / early old aged and look like your typical Mail reader.

You can spot them a mile off, as when you approach them outside, despite them wearing a mask, they turn away from you and place their face against a wall or a hedge until you`re past them lol

I`ve lost count of the amount of rows I`ve had with these clowns, when I`ve been out running.
The wife insists I wear a mask outside but I think that's more because I'm ugly o_O

Yeah, I'll probably still wear a mask for a bit in shops, and use sanitizer for a looooong time. People are disgusting.
it can get you a lot of ecsema mate, be careful, don't overuse it, pretty dangerous chemicals.

No it isn't, it's about avoiding people getting sick and poorly.
Don't you mind being ill?

Myself/all of my family are vaccinated. I am happy to take the chance of a bit of illness in order to live my life again. The lockdown has caused my family much more problems than the virus itself which I've mentioned before.

I always thought the remit was to stop people dying and ending up in hosy, not the avoidance of people getting sick and poorly ?

So we spend the rest of our lives, living with restrictions, as this thing is never going away ?

Is this how you want to live ?

What about flu ?

Do we start restricting peoples lives when that comes roaring back, as it surely will at some point ?

What about it? Flu deaths are pretty constant most years, and the NHS have dealt with it for ever. The annual death rate is usually pretty constant as well.

Some folk reckon flu cases last winter were way down on "normal", as a bye product of SD and masks. I would have no problem with both continuing going forward. Talking about shopping and that, not sport and gigs.

I agree about the masks, as it’s down to the individual and their own circumstances ( like yours )

But, there’s already scientists saying that this Winter the flu is potentially going to kill thousands and be worse than the virus, due to low immunity as a result of masks / SD, lockdowns etc.

It’s almost become like a industry, churning out horror stories, designed to keep on terrifying the living daylights out of the public.

Thats mad. The population has had general immunity from flu for decades, cos our immune system knows it and deals with it. Man flu notwithstanding. They just give booster jabs to protect the age group at risk from the latest one.
