my grandad took the jab.. tried to convince him not, he wouldn't listen 'brainwashed' like most of the family.
Four weeks he later COLLAPSED; not fell and broke his hip. You don't just collapse unless underlined health condition
or a condition not under control what was not the case. They stuck him in hospital for weeks without a tv, would not get his daily newspaper..
left him sat there with nothing and old man, disgraceful. he loves to have a bet on the horses and what not.
Today, yesterday even as its 1am has been taken to hospital with a blood clot on his leg.

You cant make it up... Denmark banned it yesterday due to bloodclots, Ireland I'm sure also did through the week?

its real what they are doing and some people are laughing us off like we are terrorists.
i'm even sure some of them will claim i'm making stories up when I can prove I am not.

Hope he will be alright, but I'm glad your grandad didn't listen to you. He'll be safe and immunised like so many others. Far safer compared to being without the vaccine.

Its so funny because these sorts think they're all enlightened critical thinkers, when they are the exact opposite, and are far too stupid to realise. They cite fake and/or anecdotal evidence to support their nonsense theories without applying any degree of criticality that they supposedly do to the popular view, like what @Nymzee posted. They see the words 'this info is from the NHS!' and just believe it at face value. No questioning, no verifying, nothing.
Then they call normal people 'brainwashed' or 'sheeple' when those exact words apply to the person they see in the mirror.

I say its funny, but in reality I've seen so much of this lately. Between the pandemic, vaccines and QAnon, it makes me worry for society. Never before have I doubted the average intelligence of humanity this much. Thankfully the sheer numbers reported of people vaccinated makes it clear these conspiracy freaks are a very vocal minority, but I still feel stupid and dangerous are a concerning mix.

Firstly, sorry about your grandad. But you do realise that aspirin, and all types of NSAID, can cause bloodclots and in some serious cases pulmonary embolism.

So should people stopping using these as well? Every type of drug causes side effects, it’s common knowledge. Just that certain people like to pretend it’s not common.

Aspirin doesn’t cause blood clots. NSAIDs on the other hand can, as you said.
Aspirin is used to prevent clots.

I’d say nearly everything in life has side effects - sometime good, sometime bad. We just don’t call them side effects.

Brilliant Friday morning reading last nights posts, nationalistic flag waving vaccine crazies inspire and embolden rather silly Covid deniers/ anti Vax, not just here but up and down internet.

Entirely predictable response, lesson one don't second guess science in a live trial. Lesson two accept there are issues in particular when own country regulator stops using a vaccine for any age group.
