I understood it as private nurseries i.e child minders that would be staying open, which I suppose could be particularly important for key workers. If it's the whole lot then question need to be asked.

12 hours notice for schools when he has known for weeks they shouldn't open from the scientists. Kids gone back today and he sat there on Marr Sunday morning saying schools won't close. He is an idiot and the government are a joke.

My wife is manager of a YMCA nursery, after meetings today they were fully expecting them to be shut as per schools, open only for children of key workers and the vulnerable. This has come as a huge shock to them, it’s all kicking off on her work What’s App group now!

If Childcare workers were a priority on the vaccination list, I could understand, but they’re not.
