The answer isn't just a lockdown. Its getting the vaccine given out far quicker than planned. Should be 24/7 clinics to get it rolled out.

They are aiming for about 10k per week in Northern Ireland. That isn't good enough.

We test 2000 people just to go and watch Everton each week.
Could give them the vaccine at the same time and have decent numbers compared to Northern Ireland ?!

Maybe I'm being harsh, and people can correct me if I'm wrong, but there just seems to be a lack of urgency with the vaccine. We need to source as much as possible and get it out as quickly as possible. Why are they trying to play it down? Get out there and make it happen, and incentivise those involved if that's what's needed to speed things up.

Football stadiums are already ready. As are GP surgeries.

Its all about distribution, which bearing in mind the existing on line delivery network is very strained, that might be the best military deployment.

Sint Ellen’s rugby ground is being used for this very purpose - they’ve got a load of GP’s and their staff from various practices set up in there ( my neighbours practice being one of them )
