Someone recently died and one of the listed reasons as to why they died was old age.

Given the average age of death from covid, amazing how people forget that other ways to die exist. Like I've said before , doesn't matter how they died, people are desperate to connect covid to it and dismiss the possibility that an 80-100 year old person for example had other issues.
100%, the whole thing is an absolute joke.

It's going to rise as it hits London unfortunately.
Seems as though Tier 3 is inevitable here in London from next week. The borough I live in is quite a bit below the national average but it's not like you can compartmentalise the city.

Does seem a bit mad that they will be leaving all the non-essential shops open when you look at the pictures from Regent Street/Oxford Street/Harrods etc.

JHB on question time is having an absolute mare. Cases were levelling off before the lockdown? Okay...
There was a story I shared yesterday that said numbers were actually half of what was being estimated before the lockdown happened.

Read to me personally that we locked down in November based on figures that had been doubled in estimates rather rather than using the actual figures.

Came from ONS , reported numbers per 100000 and then have since retrospective reduced those numbers , some by half but haven't read it myself to confirm how many were greatly reduced.

It does sound like we are operating on estimates rather than actual data if this is the case. Cases were falling in places that had heavier restrictions in place rather than growing.

Its frustrating, more so for you with a business being affected, but its the Health Trust area that you are in that drives the tier rating, not your council or parish.

What does Leicester look like atm?

I‘m off there in an hour or so I’ll let you know. It’s usually pretty grim but never as bad as Derby. lol

The only absolute jokes are the likes of you and @Kenshin trying to downplay it.

Try saying it’s a joke to the 60000 families who have lost loved ones or the NHS staff on the frontline dealing with this crisis on a daily basis.
In all seriousness , I've not downplayed anything whatsoever.

Makes me laugh that certain posters profile my thoughts and only shows they don't really read them to begin with. Just see my name and immediately start banging the keyboard.

What does your buddy anomoly say about it man?

The person you recommended that was bright , balanced and totally not biased when it comes to American news and politics.

The other night he was talking about masks being muzzles for the sheeple and this is a ploy by big pharma to turn the US of A into a commie state and the election was a fraud.

Very balanced and unbiased.

Hahahaha

Wow you really do follow his content don't you.

He is on one of my lists on twitter. With the likes of Darren Grimes and other crackpots.
You do realise how much of a tit you are making yourself out to be over this fella right?

You go on about him all the time , follow him on his platforms and constantly share his views on this site.

Does calling masks muzzles automatically make you a theorist? I use that term but more as a joke.

Isn't the correct term 'face coverings'? I don't think you are meant to say masks either.
