Life and death...that's pretty black and white to me.

But the point of the Tiers is a lot of things won't be open. I imagine a lot of places will be in Tier 2/3 at Christmas.

It's a simple enough question, but you seem to want to side step it: restaurants - a dangerous place to be in a pandemic, yes or no?

I, for my part, am sidestepping nothing. I'll underline it again: restaurants sell expensive muck to mugs.

Last time I was in a so-called fine dining restaurant I had three courses which would have taken me less than five minutes to eat under normal circumstances. No food is worth what I paid on that occasion.

When the credit card bill arrived at the end of the month my wife asked if I'd stood my friend his meal that day. I could have got away with a lie but I didn't bother.

All Shops, other than essential shops, are dangerous, exploitive, virus incubators, that sell nothing but tat for the plebs and should be permanently shut down.
