I'm utterly speechless at how cavalier some are here: over a thousand lives taken each week still in the UK and all you can read is people asking where there's a place open to get a drink indoors.

Apart from the other basket case the US, there isn't a population of scallies like ours anywhere.

Just asking where you get them from. 68000 deaths? Official, ONS, circa 43000. Well over 1000 infections. Is that down to more and more tests, or the virus spreading? 100s a day dying? Official in the 30s.

Like I understand if you still havnt grasped how the numbers are collated, they have not made it easy to be fair.

Dave is right though, the day UK went into Lockdown had less cases than the last few days. Much may be attributed to more testing, but I agree with Dave easing restrictions when you are in a worse position (confirmed case wise) than when the restrictions were introduced seems off to me.
Although the treating of this disease has improved vastly and while world wide cases are still increasing the world wide daily death totals are decreasing.

Breaking news: Germany (which unlocked and relaxed restrictions from May 27th) are now seeing R-numbers of 1.7, stoking fears of a second wave even there....imagine what we'll be facing when this 'kin lot unleash a load of people into pubs and restaurants.

Dave is right though. He was telling us all its a scam not many months ago ffs.

That said, I personally will not change my behaviour any time soon, and I also agree with him that the folk who are gagging for a pint or a bench press, (thats a gym thing yeah?), can display an astonishing selfishness.

I also think that Matthew in Newquay isnt a nosebleed. Anyone who is lucky enough to have a guaranteed income, doesnt have to go work, and doesnt have to fret about the health of their own household perhaps dont quite grasp the concerns and fears of those that have non of that security.
