Infuriating that, I mean I don't know what your missus specialises in but presumably those appointments could be valuable for others

3 for 3 today. She's a community nurse, so kids stuff mainly, but a lot of safeguarding type cases at the moment (domestic violence etc.). I'd be up for charging people if they don't cancel an appointment in a reasonable hour, as it all costs the NHS money.
 
They're trying to stop your benefits before you actually get them mate. lol

Joking aside mate I hope something comes along jobwise quickly.
Hopefully in 2 weeks time I will be pulling up around the corner in a works van,taking my overalls off and washing my hands in turps.Popping in ,signing on and back on site within half an hour lol lol The good old days are coming back lol lol

I remember those good old days mate, looking around to make sure no one was watching and then jumping over our back fence to meet the lads in the van. The only problem for me when I would go and sign on was that I would always stink of bitumen.:oops:
 
NHS England announces 116 new deaths

NHS England has announced 116 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 25,866.

Of the 116 new deaths announced on Tuesday, 23 occurred on May 25, 40 occurred on May 24 and 25 occurred on May 23.

The figures also show 23 of the new deaths took place between May 3 and May 22, while the remaining five took place in April with the earliest on April 8.

The figures published on Tuesday by NHS England show April 8 continues to have the highest number for the most hospital deaths on a single day, with a current total of 893.
