Cummings: I didn't "visit" my parents, I was never in the same house with them - and they never helped with childcare.

The rules allow for judgement in circumstances relating to childcare

So he lied about that then?

His only defence in driving to Durham and he has said that wasnt why he went?

So............

Anyone else notice that he drove to Durham whilst infected with his family now for no reason whatsoever? No different to staying at home in London.

I give up .

Absolute disgrace. What a load of rubbish that was. There was no terrible situation he was in to drive 240 miles. Didn't even seek medical advice before the journey and they never even had the symptoms. Then driving to the castle for 30 minutes there and then back to see if he was ok to drive to London and test his eye sight, laughable and a joke. Wouldn't even apologise. If people don't follow the rules now, I honestly don't blame them to be honest. Government is a mess and a laughing stock. Rule for them and different for us.

I'm sure somebody in tomorrows press will raise this... hyuck hyuck.

So basically he was worried that if he was in London and both he and his wife got ill they wouldn't be able to look after their son.

They didn't think to ask neighbours/friends/closer relatives to possibly take their soon when they started to feel ill.

They then both got ill in Durham but didn't require childcare from his parents or nieces?

Why bother leaving London then?

I think you're on to something there sadly :(

Well he said conflicting things about london support base. That he didn’t ask because he didn’t want friends to be at risk. And that he didn’t have a support base.

those two things are conflicting.
