I had the great misfortune to read his latest pile of steaming turd apology for the murderers' virus performance in last week's New Statesman.

He was given access by Cummings to his family members on both sides to write a 3,000 word puff piece for the NS last year.

Dont make the mistake of viewing this latest intervention as anything other than Nosferatu calling in a favour.

What is the favour here? Everyone knows what they've been saying happened is complete and utter horse faeces, Lambert has given an alternative account which is far more plausible whilst doesn't exonerate Cummings in any way.

Harry Lambert should be congratulated - as a theory of why he went up there, that is vastly more believable than what they've told people all weekend - that he and his other half got ill, needed childcare but then somehow didn't need it.

It is still completely against the lockdown, and utterly flies in the face of what this virus has resulted in thousands of other people having to go through mind.

They can still stick with the “family values“ theme, just pivot from the “worried parent concerned for welfare of small child” to “devoted son comforting mother”.

All the while showing utter contempt for the many others faced with similar or greater challenges who still followed “Stay at Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives”.
