I'd say this season, our biggest rivals for fourth are Spurs and City.

Well, even though we've not won yet, and had a pretty awful start, here's some context. If we win our next game, and either of them lose, we could leapfrog them. Because yes, we're only 3 points behind.

So, it could be worse. And if yesterday was as so-called turnaround, better in september than in November or December as per usual, eh?

So, let's tonk the barcodes! b)

Agree.

And what's more encouraging, even though we're below them in the table, our performances up to now have been better than either Spurs or City. I am very hopeful that the last couple of minutes against United will be our turning point this season. Our 'Neville on Ronaldo' moment, but at the beginning of September instead of at the end of October. Let's go to town on Newcastle next week and kick on from there.

Don't you mean "go to toon"?:P

Exactly, let's hope the last minute draw with Manchester is used as the kick starter to our season. Only three points behind our main rivals and just Villa to do a bit of catch up on. Can't see them finishing above us though tbh. So, please use those Geordie bastards as whipping boys at the weekend and let's start climbing that league. COYB!!!

IT'S ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the fact is that as brilliant as yesterday was it will all be for nought if we don't get 3 points in our next game against the barcodes, but i'm uber confident now and I think we're back on track for the top four push, not that I ever doubted we ever would be off track for too long.

I thought Spurs looked superb against City - only Hart stopped City getting buried. That said, they've since looked [Poor language removed] against some pretty ordinary opposition.

hahaha. Top notch :P

They had a very dominant 45 minutes which they failed to convert into goals, the second 45 minutes was excrement from both teams. City had quite a good game against Liverpool. Both of them have turned it on occasionally, but I do think our general performances have been better, and that we're showing constant improvement over inconsistency :)

think its to early to tell, but Europe could do for spurs, cityare weired no matter who they buy they always seem to fail;besides we are going top 3
