You could take him to the ground a couple of hours before kick off and get some pictures taken with the players as they enter the ground. (I'm assuming they arrive around a couple of hours prior to kick off, somebody can confirm the normal time though I guess)

Or take him to Finch Farm in the week and catch the players leaving the training ground.

then you can sometimes get lucky and they'll have one or two of the players in signing autographs
