There should definitely be no laws against those who don't get the vaccine.

I also don't think there's been proposals to criminalise those who don't get the covid jab.

There have been in Austria & Germany, government-backed too.

The unvaccinated weren't allowed into events or to fly, even if testing negative. The vaccinated were, even without any test.

Most countries now allow travel as long as you give a negative test. That's not an unreasonable ask.

Agree that regardless of vaxxed-status for things like flying we should prove - during peak outbreak periods - that we have a negative test result.

People who aren't vaccinated tend to refuse it based on what I'd deem "crazy grounds".

I've refused it on grounds that i didn't feel i needed it, and as i have bags of weird allergic reactions to stuff i didn't want to risk any weird jab side-effects.

i've had Covid twice...Feb 2020 (unconfirmed) and March 2022 (PCR-confirmed). Both times mild.

I've followed all the rules, but having a Kindergarten-going kid means we get exposed to all kinds of viruses...almost monthly.

I believe misinformation to be the biggest threat to humanity for the foreseeable future.

I believe blind faith in what the government & media are telling us is a bigger threat.

4) scroll down to Row 302: "Deaths involving Covid-19" for May 22 - Unvaccinated.
5) scroll down to Row 309/310: "Deaths involving Covid-19" for May 22 - Boosted/Vaccinated.

UK Unvaccinated: 82 deaths of Covid-19 in May 2022.

UK Vaccinated: 1282 deaths of Covid-19 in May 2022 (1155 boosted).

I don't disagree. Governments will always angle a story to suit their agenda. However, you have to be careful not to lump everyone into that category. The scientific community is pretty good at fact checking and peer reviewing statements made. We should trust their judgement when the general consensus is telling us something.

I agree, but the link he provided for the UK data does seem to show that the % of deaths in vaccinated is lower than % of deaths in unvaccinated. The format of the data is not easy to read though so I might be making an error.

Seriously, if you were a virologist, statician and both at the same time, then I mean fair enough, worth a listen, worth the time.

I'd have to look at their methods, but they do provide age-standardized deaths per X, but it doesn't show that there are more deaths among vaccinated, especially boosted ones at a cursory look. This is a section of their Table 3 data showing the Covid death rate among vaccination status. (Also, should be obvious, in case it comes up but the death rate among vaccinated isn't additive: you can't add up the numbers in the age-standardized rate column: 190.1 + 122 + 8.4 + 30.4...etc., to argue that there are more deaths among vaccinated than the unvaccinated (which equals 863.2), as this isn't what the numbers are meant to show.
