We can't sell all our defenders even if we wanted to. If Mina is leaving we have two perhaps injury prone rbs, a poor lb and tark and Braithwaite.

That means we most likely have to keep two of coady, Holgate, Godfrey and keane so it will maybe just come down to wages and who has clubs that actually want to buy them

I’d keep Coady and Godfrey if that’s the choice. Godfrey has shown he can cover at left back even though Dyche doesn’t fancy him there. I thought he always looked good at left back put in some good disruptive forward runs. Just can’t cross.

4.5 mill wouldn’t even get you an avg back up ? Crazy price … decent player / solid leader / gives us option of playing 3 in back . Absolute no brainer!

For £4m it's a no-brainer. I'd like to see young Braithwaite given a lot more games from now on. I think the lad has talent.

Do worry when Dyche talks about poor run of form he is thinking Keane. He is not finished at Everton, be nice to be wrong.
Far too passive personality Keane has for centre back, with Mina off for a big pay day in warmer climes. Coady has lots character that will fill the void Mina leaves.

To be honest, I think Coady is all mouth and not actually much of a player.

I would certainly have him in the side ahead of Keane, but I very much doubt that's on the cards with Dyche.

It's an absolute no brainer...so it won't happen and Wolves will take him back and make money on him instead of us.

My thoughts exactly. Once Dyche has a full pre season with the squad he’ll have shoehorned Keane back into that defence and we will probably start with Keane and Tarks first game.

Hopefully not, but I can’t see otherwise.

Let him and Mina going is a crazy decision that will backfire on us. We just don't have the finances to buy another center back bearing in mind how short we are upfront. Going into next season with the likely tark and keane duo at the back smells relegation to me...there is the question mark over Braithwaite but not sure if he is ready to start every week in the premier league. Not a great start to the important work dyche keeps talking about...
