I don't get the viciousness against Keane, bloke had the confidence sapped out of him by the sort of stick Maguire faced.....neither are poor players and both have many England caps, you don't lose it over night.
Without him this season we've been the worst I've seen an Everton side perform for decades, near the bottom from the off, no coincidence either i reckon.

I can't fathom the excuses Davies gets made for him when he truly should not be anywhere near a premiership squad, yet Keane gets cut no slack at all.
He's done more for Everton than a lot of this side have to be fair.

I'd love to see him back, jeez we need him at both ends of the pitch.

He's crap. It's not viciousness. He's just rubbish.

His best form came under Ancelotti of course, and before that under Dyche, so hopefully SD if he does bring him in finds his best form.

a months of not playing and everyone forgetting how utterly abysmal michael keane is.
coady is very crap too so we've no good options despite having 6 centre backs in yesterdays squad.
6 centre halves for a combined 90 odd mil and about 500k a week and not one of them is even mid table standard with most being championship at best.

And the last time Michael Keane played in our defence we conceded 4.

He's not good. He can have the good odd game sat on the edge of our own box. That's it.

Just because Coady is playing badly, which he is, doesn't make Michael Keane a good player.
Just because Keane was on the field doesn’t mean he’s 100% at fault. I know bashing Keane is the popular trend around here but I’m willing to give someone, like you said, who has an occasional good game, a shot in favor of someone who has been playing very poorly. I mean, you could ride it out I guess and hope he comes out of his funk. That’s just a risk one has to take, however you look at it.

It's more the evidence of the past 6 years he's had at Everton, mate.

He's crap.

I'd also get Coady out of the team. Mina is our best defender, he should play. But I know there's issues there due to his reliability
