CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2007 K-LEAGUE WINNERS!

well done pohang, a real everton story here. pohang one of the strongest teams historically but modern day seem to be stuck in mid table (sound familiar) have pulled off a great shock.

They finished 6th in the league and squeezed in to the play offs and made their way to the final. a two legged game vs. seongnam (the korean united) and they spanked them in both games. a real breath of fresh air for the league.

I follow Suwon Blue wings. we lost in the semi final of the play offs to pohang. the k-league is suffering from a slight quality vacuum at the moment. no one who would make the step up to the epl in my opinion. sure i blow the trumpet of players who i like but i'm also honest about the quality. i hope next season a few players step forward as stand out. i'll keep posted.. the new season starts in march.


btw... a SEASON TICKET will cost 30 quid next season.

Seriously though, I think leagues should be about consistency and winning the league when you actually finished 6th seems like a hollow victory to me.
