They can still get 4th though and are in a decent position. It is crucial they get a CL place each season, as they need the money to pay a certain amount back for the Emirates Stadium each year. It would be a total disaster for them if they didn't finish in the top 4, and they would likely have to sell a major player to make up for the revenue shortfall.

I can see Wenger definitely going after they finish outside the top 4, but if he leaves before the end of the season, that would lessen the chances of a top 4 finish a lot. Their board won't do that.

He's been booed before though, Wenger won't walk mid-season. In the summer? Maybe.

he doesn't for all he's done for the club. But surely he must have known the FA Cup was his best chance of silverware this season and yet he played a weakened team and he got knocked out. I know the team was still good enough to win, but i wouldn't trust in people like gervinho.

Think a lot of arsenal fans probably feel the same way about wenger than i do about moyes. Appreciate everything, but it's time for a change. Not that i'd ever boo moyes, i grumble and moan, but never boo

My head can't decide if Moyes and Arsenal is a good fit or not.

totally contrasting styles aren't they. Think he'd shore them up a bit defensively and he'd always have the talent up top to play decent enough football. But i doubt he'd have the winning instinct to achieve great things there

Hope your wrong mate we desperately need a change of direction Moyes may or may not do well with money personally I think when he has choices he's dangerous but this business of not winning anything year on year to finish 7th is killing us.

The next generation aren't walking round say "tell me your net spend" just doesn't work like that - we need silverware.
