Still cant get over that 45 seconds remark. How **** must that make Martinez feel when he is compared as some kind of mitigation to Moyes.

Yeah if he was going to something along those lines, it should have less then Moyes. Feel that bill is going to keep Martinez under Moyes shadows.

I have known many efc Managers - DM was average did well this season first half of it, but was too defensive guarding 1-0 leads that cost us 4th place - forget him & lets be more interested in Roberto!

definitely impressed in his conference. the press are clearly worried at the thought that they may not be able to patronise us much longer. for all the awkward stuff Kenwright came out with, it did sound like the questions most people have been asking about Martinez were asked and he answered them in a way most sceptics should be happy with. needs to follow it up now. we are a team that most people who were actually watching said could have got into the top 4 last season, so would have been weird to go into an interview and say you didn't see how you could improve on what happened. the press proving themselves for the bias ignorant hacks they are. maybe most importantly I think a season that ends in sixth under Martinez will be more exciting than one under Moyes. maybe it will be better than that though. Kenwright is a real ham in these situations but will that matter once the seasons start. tired of picking through the possibilities now, I just want to see the Blues on the pitch, full of belief and doing us proud

You can see how happy he is to manage us and thats absolutely brilliant!

Depends

If he plays 3 at the back, pushes everyon else up the pitch and leaves them exposed, like he did at Wigan, it could easily happen.

That Wigan defense weren't great but they also weren't THAT bad.

He needs to look at it is all I'm saying
