Computer games.

That's interesting, I actually preferred Arthur and thought he was a fantastic character. Built brilliantly, mysterious background but come together at the end which kinda lined up with most people getting their honour high towards the end.

That scene where he rides back to camp for the last time to the Daniel Lanois tune is utterly outstanding and perhaps the greatest scene in video game history.
This game definitely made the 1st game’s story miles better, so you have to say it succeeded in what it was trying to do. I favored Arthur as well. It’s the mindless obedience that ends up getting people into trouble. John’s story wasn’t bad at all, but it was a much simpler plot and had a narrow focus.

It also had the memes

Crytek.

Yeah, nah. Bloody awful company.

The game is brilliant, and loved by its community. You only ever see positivity towards it, it’s one of the few original concepts out there for this genre and has great devs who constantly update it. Don’t hate unless you tried it. First rate game and a borderline masterpiece tbh. More devs should take creative risks the way Crytek have with this.

So yeah nah, you’re spectacularly wrong :p

Ermm, no, I am not wrong. They are an awful company. They have repeatedly withheld pay to their staff, then sued other developers for taking that staff on.

They embarked on a frivolous lawsuit against CIG over Star Citizen moving to Lumberyard (anyone who has paid attention to my posts in here, know that I hold no love for CIG) because they thought they could get a slice of their crowdfund pie.

I am not going to try the game purely because it will put money in the pockets of human trash.

Fair enough, wasn't aware of the staff issues (not overly arsed about the CIG stuff tbh). Still, if i had a moral conscience with regard to video game development i wouldn't have very many games left to play given lots of my favourite games are made and released by developers/publishers who have have been sued or had questions raised about how they treat staff.

It sucks but its not going to stop me buying these games, that's the blunt truth of it... good for you for being morally superior to me and i don't even mean that sarcastically.

The game is still absolutely ace though with possibly the best sound design i've come across.

Rockstar need calling out in my opinion. It seems like it's trendy to bum their games even though the controls and parts of the gameplay feel mega dated. The shooting gameplay in RDR2 is unbelievably bad. Also, I thought the ending was flat.
