Computer games.

Well as per the bad actor thread, your first point may be moot! :p The biggest issue I see myself is people growing up wanting to be YouTubers and thinking they can get famous just by playing a game, and not necessarily even being good at it. Much like many in today's society already expecting things handed to them, and lowering the bar even further from wanting to be a pop-star/footballer!

I'm not even sure the majority aspire to even this, I think they just enjoy following their celebrity.

There's a youtuber/letsplayer i stumbled upon called Cryaotic, he doesn't show his face but has a reasonable speaking voice and humour. The weird thing is that almost every comment on his playthroughs reference him and his personality, rather than anything about the actual game he's playing. It's very affectionate.

It's like the youth are actively looking for role-models. Did we do this at the same age? Don't quite remember it being like that.

Battery life for it concerns me.

Agreed, but if they can manage even 2-3 hours off charge then it's done the job. It's not like a phone - it's meant to be a console that can be portable when needed for short periods.

The bigger question is whether it can be AC charged when portable (so plug in on a train). That would make the battery life question irrelevant.
