I want to play Kerbal Space Program - but I am massively afraid of it. Just looks daunting.

Not really, my graphics card is from 2010 and it is still handling everything thrown at it far better than the current gen consoles.

Maybe it's slowed over time but it was a struggle to keep up 10 years ago

installed it..it is indeed incredible but even my ol 980ti struggled with ultra v2. this is a monster mod.

Granted, I am not running GTA V/Crysis 3 in 4k on ultra, but GTA V runs beautifully at 1080p 60fps in high, which still looks far better than anything ps4/xbone can put out.

His channel (kerbal) especially is awesome. I couldnt have travelled as far without him.
Look..If any pc players out there need help with the next purchase...sod Mafia III get yourself Kerbal Space programme ..
I have been tinkering for a year and it doesnt get old ...and it costs a 3rd of most aaa games.

I have been playing for about 3 now, got lots of hours logged and made some pretty funky things over the years.

Oh, and not to mention the mod community.....again, takes the game to a whole 'nother level!!!

But yeah, that sense of accomplishment when you first touch down on the moon, and Jeb plants his first flag...... Awesome!!

haha, It took every once of my manhood not to shed a tear after finally touching down . You just don't get that with games these days !!

And then from there you end up with space stations, probes out exploring the solar system..... Landing on the basis moons and planets.... It is all brilliant.

But nothing beats that first landing on Mun.

It is Sunday morning, I was going to load up GTAV or Rimworld.

For some unexplained reason I am sat looking at the Kerbal loading screen......

There has been nothing that consoles could do that PC's couldn't do better. And I've used both for nearly 20 years.

Consoles help you lose your virginity that having a PC and going on about frames per second and wearing a game glove you bad bad nonces.
