I played the demo and it was crap, however annoying FIFA is it is so much slicker and polished compared to Pes.

Yeah proper crap mate... all of the reviews are blatantly incorrect.

It's a really good game, but I appreciate some people just can't look past the licensing issue.

Shame really.

If you mean the menus and licences, then yes, fine.

If you mean the gameplay, you're woefully wrong.

Who cares which is best? Why can't they both be good? If you like one but someone likes the other who cares?!
And blimey, shock horror, last year (and probably this if I get round to getting PES at some point) I like them both. How very dare I??

I like them both, for different reasons. FIFA is the better presented, PES has the better gameplay.

If I want to simulate a game of Super Sunday, I'll play FIFA. If I want a more fun overall game, I'll play PES.

I don't regret owning either game, but I feel overall PES is objectively the better actual game of football.

Exactly. And that's totally fine of course. I differ and go the other way. It doesn't matter though.

I just hate all the 'my game is better than your game' tosh.
