Do it. I spend half my working day thinking about playing it again. I haven't wanted to and spent this much time playing a game for years. I don't know if you can fileshare some how on ps4, but if you could get someone to sort you out a character with a decent axe and weapon to start with, as the very start can be a bit if a grind until you get decent tools.
 

started playing terraria on ps4, game sharing it from a mate.

Absolutely hate the game, still playing it though?! Its wierdly addictive in a way, spent two hours yesterday and all i got as a reward was a platnum pick axe, nothing too special like! It annoys me but for some reason i keep playing it, i must be mad.

Yeah this is what I was talking about above, everything is too slow at the start for my liking, takes an age to mine single blocks etc which makes it a bit of a drag. Much better if you can get someone to set you up a char with a gold pickaxe and sword or something so that you can mine/fight at a decent rate.
Top tip: of you can get a couple piggy banks then carry one and a table in your inventory, and keep one at your base. Then you can put things in or as you go round you can site stuff in it, and of you die it won't be all lost.

to be honest im playing less for myself and more so for my mate so when we get internet switched on i can be like look what i can do.

that and the achievement of doing things on it because i a have been so tempted to give up at certain points from building to exploring

practically, a 2d minecraft yeah. It has bosses and stuff in it whilst keeping it all simplistic. i probably wont but i can saee why people pile hours into the game, you start mining a wall and 2 hours fly by haha me last night was the equivalent of playing a few matches on fifa or finding the crow bar in half life
