Computer games.

The Tesco offer sounds like such a bargain and I'm desperate to get an X1 but I already have Aliens on the PS4 :confused:

Might pick it up anyway and then trade in Aliens towards Evil Within.

Playing Uncharted 2 on PS3 right now, and really liking it.

My flatmate is playing FarCry 3 and that looks pretty good, would you guys recommend that to play next? Should I try pick up the first two games?

IIRC, you don't need to play the previous Far Cry's to understand the story as I believe they're completely separate stories so I'd say no you don't have to get the previous titles.

No worries lid!

Jumping is contextual, you can only jump over certain things like fences that are in places where you want fall a fair distance. Adds to the realism really instead of just diving over everything in sight, means you have to plan your escapes as you do them.

Yeah, the lack of ammo is good, I played through an hour to an hour and a half and I only came across 6 bullets and that was because it was a scripted thing. But as I get further in that may change. Going to smash it when I get back from uni tomorrow.
My mate bought this yesterday also. He said you can adjust the ' grainy ' appearance to the visuals from none to full... i know you mentioned about this last night. I haven't seen what you're on about so i can't judge but my mate reckons when it's on full, it adds to the effect and creepiness of the game. He thinks it's a very good addition.

He also mentioned something about the A.I like you did. That it's very clever;
even to the point of setting traps for you
..... I find this very interesting.

Sounds a good game and based on what i've read about online, reviews and from what you and my mate have said about it, i will be buying this today.

Almost bought the new Forza for the 360 then realised I'm at a watershed moment in my life. It's the time where I either buy a next gen console and continue gaming, or give up on it and try and use my time more productively.
