It looks like a snidey MMO but your character can be Breton, Khajit, Argonian etc.

The quests were boring as ****, very little "open world"

Combat system was crap

No skills or crafting etc. from what I could see

I was really excited for the first 10 minutes. Oh, and during the 2 hours to download it.

I won't be subscribing.
 
I know, I saw the trailers and had really high hopes but it was a big let down

I'm not sure they can turn it around in 6 months (release date) that will be enough for me to want to sub and stick around, but we'll see
 

Wondering what people consider to be the "best of generation" games for the outgoing consoles (360/PS3)?

Here's my list in no particular order:
(only stipulation is that it can only contain 1 game from any series)


Gears of War 3
COD: Modern Warfare 2
Bioshock
Guitar Hero 3
Uncharted 2
GTA IV
Little Big Planet
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Left 4 Dead 2
Skyrim
Forza 4
Mass Effect 2
Halo 4
 
I'm not too arsed about this online game, I love playing Skyrim alone, just exploring and searching for quests, the only online stuff I would like to see is maybe a online town where we can trade, competitions for money, and maybe co-op quests.

I hear #2 is suppose to be better.

But then I hold all 3D adventure games by the standard set in PoP:Sands of Time, which I think is still one of the finest games ever made even though it is two generations old now.

Well I didn't think so much of the first one, but Uncharted 2 IS epic. Better in every way than its predecessor.

Good to hear, I kind of enjoyed the first but the stuff you mention above is very true. The shooting sections are completely unoriginal and repetitive and the spawning in sections which you had to work hard to uncover was just shoddy. My main thought when playing it was what the hell was everybody raving about?!?

Will get on the second now soon. And maybe go back and try POP again.

probably not 'the best' but the stand out games for me where ..

modern warfare 1 (becouse it just seemed online gaming went up a notch when this hit)
fallout 3 (becouse it just blew me away)
mass effect 2 (same as fallout)

like i say there is much 'better' games , but these were groundbreaking moments for me. id be quite happy stuck on a desert island with a console and those 3 games.

oh and 2 others i really enjoyed playing but they wont be in the running for 'best game' .... red dead redemption and the much slated - dantes inferno , i really had fun playing that.
