Computer games.

Been trying We are football 2024, it's completely different to FM, meaning a huge learning curve because of the amount of features. I started a season lost my first two games, so I'm starting again. You can start a career from scratch, build your own club, manage, international comps. I've had to download workshop for real player names and club names because FM has all the licenses though.

The transfer list is a bit odd though, never any strikers there.

I am enjoying it but there is a lot to learn. overall it's worth sticking with as I have gone off FM a couple of years ago, it feels like you're paying for a transfer update year on year. Apparently FM has had a huge change which is why it's delayed this year.

Interesting. Got the depth of FM? Decent match engine? Tbh I won't be spending money on a different management game unless I see some decent playthroughs of it/can get my hands on a demo.

Yeah, FM moving to the Unreal engine this/last year, and they made a complete balls of it. Cancelled this years version and going straight to "26".

It's very in depth, they've stayed away from anything that resembles FM. I am finding it a good experience once you turn off the FM part of your brain and accept it for what it is, a unique manager experience. You can build your own club from scratch if you wish. You can even have a family and your kids want to play pro if they're grown.

It let's you learn much more about player personalities, at first obviously you don't know them, your relationship is built as you play. You're in charge of all advertising, naming rights, all the training facilities, pitch, even the way it's mown.

It will take some getting used too but it's a very different experience from FM. I'd recommend it. I picked it up for £11.99 on cdkeys.

I've played for 20hrs and barely scratched the surface. I went a bit mad buying players first transfer window and we were shocking lol. I'm thinking of doing the career, start right at the bottom with a non league club.

Tempting tbh...

It's quite good, just a lot to learn as it isn't like FM and my brain is FM adapted. It'll take a while to get used to all the features and tbh with FM getting cancelled this year, it's a perfect opportunity to give this a go.

I've been on it all morning lost the first 2 yet again, Brighton and Spurs but I beat Sutton and Bournemouth in the following 2. One thing that needs improving is the transfer list, never seems to have RWB/LWB(that's what the fullbacks are called not RB/LB) but saying that it will probably change as I get into it, it's just sparse at first.

Overall I'd recommend it.

It reminds me of the short-lived FIFA Manager of the early 00s and some other older games. I like micromanagers like that, it gives a bit more flavour to it. Are you playing as Everton or a different team? Do the tactics go a bit more in-depth too (the guy in the video only showed them for a few seconds)?

Yeah, I started with Everton. I tried starting lower but I'm clueless about lower league players. The tactics are in-depth yeah, there's a lot to fart around with like. You can also put your players anywhere on the pitch on the tactics screen whereas FM has locked in positions.

Like I say it has a lot of features, a lot and most of it not what you get on FM. It feels a bit overwhelming at first but I'm determined to stick at it and learn it. You can have up to 4 players and the men's and women's leagues are playable.

If you want real names and clubs you'll need the workshop stuff and it's about 10GB large but obviously worth it or it's like regens on FM.

here's a few screenshots. Also I think it's made by the same fella who did FIFA Manager

A fair chunk further into Expedition 33, and I’d say not only is it probably in the best 10 games I’ve ever played, it’s probably in my top 5 favourite games of all time, if not top 3
Half the voice cast are either famous actors of famous VA's.
Shadowheart (Jennifer English) and the big bad are from Baldurs Gate 3, for example.

I've yet to play, but will do with more spare time. As noticed, I'm currently contemplating the manager game that @Terrarian is grinding
