Computer games.

I think if it wasn't a turn based combat style game I'd be all over it. It looks really good style wise.

Just really hate turn based combat sadly.

I adore turned based, but combat is only ever half of a Persona game. The other half is like a strange social sim/unfolding murder mystery. And to be fair they've added a cool twist to the combat with negotiations. Imagine Pokémon if you could hold a gun to Pikachu's head and tell him to pay you money or you'll shoot him. Ace.

I'm quite confident you would utterly hate it (other than appreciating the soundtrack and style -- seriously I've never seen a game with UI this good), but for weirdos like me it's just incredible.

Anyone playing Persona 5?

The fact that this has come out a month after Nier: Automata makes me think that Jesus is real and he's a weeaboo nerd like me.

I couldn't have had more hype, as Persona 4 is probably in my top 3 games ever, but this is an utterly outstanding game. The soundtrack is jizztastic as well.

P4G is only £3.99 on Vita on the PS Store.

Never played any of the Personas, pretty sure I won't like it, but at that price I've gotta give it a try.

Just need to finish God Of War 1+2, Rogue Legacy, Soldner-X2, Severed and Akiba's trip.

You own a vita and haven't played it?? It's the reason I bought a vita! Easily the best game on the system.

Severed is good like. Bit frustrating by the end but a nice little game really.

Not really a jrpg fan, tried Danganronpa but couldn't really get into it.

I like the Vita for it's cheap, easy, pick up and have a quick blast playability.

Best game for me is still Castlevania: SotnN

A statement like that makes me wonder why @chicoazul hasn't jumped all over it yet......

I try so hard to like JRPGs but I just can't.

I don't know what it is.

I've played the Final Fantasy games before, but even this new one isn't something I'm rushing out to buy...

Danganronpa is a visual novel with minor gameplay elements. Bit like Phoenix Wright. It's not a JRPG, though stylistically it is very Japanese.

As @Rook says, it's not even close to the brilliance of Persona. Though I did really enjoy it myself.

The Vita is a great bit of kit though. Shame it never took off and will surely be Sony's last handheld.

I got one of those cheapo cardboard vr headsets that you strap your phone into for christmas. I wondered if something similar could be done for the Vita.

If it was a similar spec and price to something like Samsung Gear and had some good games it could give the Vita a bit of a ressurection.

The Vita might be a bit big to strap to your face mind.

wonder why no-one has been able to do a decent modern athletics game? used to love the 1980's ones, although they were essentially button bashers
