Computer games.

Got an android box with thousands of emulated games on. Well worth the money. Even without kodi and mobdro. My lad loves all the pokemon and old fifa games. Can pick one up for 20 quid. Or get a nvidia shield and you can fit every game ever made for every system right up to the dream cast on the 500gb hard drives on those bad boys.

Reading this morning that Kodi is meant to be coming to Xbox in the future. Didn't follow all the story about it but the makers were happy with the app created and as such will be making a full app from it which should be available through windows store and Xbox in the future.

I have a failing hard drive (1 month old ffs).

It's not the drive where the OS is located. The thing is don't think I'll be able to make a good image of the drive since it's deteriorating extremely fast (includes very interesting clanging noises).

So I am quite resigned that I'll lose most of what's on there.

What annoys me the most is all the future defunct links on the computer. Programs and such installed on there. Does anybody know a quick and clean way to get rid of all of them without a clean install?

Atm I'm trying to copy the entire drive but I would be extremely amazed if the drive is able to last until the end. Then I would just copy the image to the new drives; give it the same name and everything and normally everything would function okay.

If you do replace/image the drive you can just give the new one the same drive letter and all the links should continue to work?
